Anni was fascinated by printmaking techniques, and used a range of methods of her own invention to create prints that result from the processes of the media and from a knowledge of technology. Here in Red Meander, we see her use of a single screen printed first in one direction, then twice more in the same ink but in other directions, and subsequently in a stronger but related color to create a myriad of visual events that could not have occurred in drawing or painting.
