Donation Anni et Josef Albers (Anni and Josef Albers Donation)

Following the dual retrospective Anni and Josef Albers: Art and Life, organized by the Musée d’Art Moderne de Paris in 2021, the Albers Foundation is pleased to announce a gift of fifty-seven works to the museum. The gift comprises twenty-two works by Josef Albers, including three Homage to the Square paintings, and thirty-five works by Anni Albers, featuring both textiles and prints, as well as a selection of archival and educational materials. The donation is the largest made by the Foundation in the last twenty-five years and represents a major addition to the museum's collection.
