Italy-Germany: Painting and Sculpture from the 19th to the 20th Century, from Canova to Kiefer
Basilica Palladiana, Vicenza, Italy
13 November 2026–2 May 2027
Italy-Germany traces a network of journeys, encounters, and influences that transformed the language of art and Europe’s cultural vision. Art is interpreted as a “satellite system,” capable of intercepting messages, preserving legacies, and responding to societal crises. The exhibition is the first of a three-year project sponsored by the City of Vicenza and dedicated to Italy’s cultural and artistic ties with Germany, France, and Spain.
